Duty Manager

To meet those needs, Park‘N Fly is seeking a full-time Duty Manager. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Duty Manager will oversee all guest service interactions, prepare and manage weekly personnel plans, manage frontline personnel and maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellent customer service delivery through various workgroups
  • Manage the resolution of customer service issues
  • Prepare a weekly plan to meet estimated demands for required labour and scheduling accordingly
  • Provide direction to supervisors regarding shift assignments
  • Manage and direct staff in various workgroups to ensure optimum service delivery
  • Maintain a safe environment for staff and guests through abiding and enforcing company safety policies and procedures

 

You Provide

  • Previous supervisory experience preferably in an operations or customer service setting
  • Post-secondary education or 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Managerial or supervisory experience in a unionized environment considered an asset
  • Superior leadership, communication, guest relations, and employee relations skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and delegate to meet deadlines
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and escalate serious concerns where necessary
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office programs including relative comfort with Excel
  • Valid G-class driver’s license with a clean abstract
  • Ability and willingness to work a rotating shift including nights and weekends
  • Ability to drive manual transmission
