Park’N Fly’s Snack Bags Bring Support to RMHC Toronto Families

Toronto’s Ronald McDonald House (RMH) supports 81 families at a time, providing a home away from home for those caring for a sick child. With two in three Canadians living in communities without a dedicated children’s hospital, many families are forced to travel far from home to access essential care.

The staff at the RMH in Toronto do their best to provide an environment that feels as close to home as possible. From the media room and laundry facilities to the on-site activities available, the entire building was created to offer a safe space, enhance a sense of community and support, and foster connection through memory-building experiences.

As part of its ongoing commitment to giving back, the Park’N Fly Toronto team came together on March 18, 2026, for its annual snack bag packing initiative. Team members assembled 100 snack bags filled with practical, ready-to-go items including granola bars, mints, fruit cups, juice boxes, and soup, simple but essential items for families constantly moving between the hospital and RMH.

The bags will be available in the RMH Toronto pantry and the Family Room at SickKids Hospital, offering caregivers convenient access to refreshments and a brief moment of relief during long and demanding days. Following the event, members of the Park’N Fly team personally delivered the snack bags and toured the facility, gaining a deeper appreciation for the vital role RMH plays in supporting families. “It is truly a one-of-a-kind experience,” said Carlo Marrello, CEO of Park’N Fly. “To see the difference such a small bag can make in a busy parent’s life incredibly powerful. You can feel the love and support throughout the entire house, it’s truly indescribable.”

This initiative reflects Park’N Fly’s broader commitment to supporting the communities it serves, an extension of the same care and reliability it provides to travellers across Canada every day.
